    Italian Style (Double Feature)

    Italian Style (Double Feature)

One episode featuring two classic (Italian Style) skits: The Beach Vendor Boys and Bullying Sucks.

Beach Vendor Boys: This ’60s beach movie spoof episode brings you to Italy’s Giadarni Naxos Beach, and features music, with a Beach Boys and Ventures influence, along with a plot, that harkens back to Frankie Avalon & Annette Funicello’s memorable movies.  Antonio and Brando (Mattia Signaroldi & Mike Fox) are beach vendors by day, but hope to win over the hearts of two foreign exchange students (Katabelle & Madelin Arnaud), by inviting them to hear them play their surf music, but their biggest obstacle is Daryn, a human monument, or bodybuilder (John Fox).  Arianna Corona also plays Lydia, the girlfriend of the band’s drummer Jerry (Mike Fox), and sings a duet with Mattia Signaroldi called You Being You.  Other songs include: Groovy Feelings, Surfing To Space, and Walk, Don’t Fly.

wo Italian immigrants Giovanni and Emiliano (Mattia Signaroldi and Mike Fox) hit the stage to play synth pop and deal with a more than tough crowd.  Will Giovannia and Emiliano survive?  Find out in #bullyingsucks, an anti-bullying skit featuring songstress Wonky Tonk.

Wonky plays Jennifer, a bartender at Hank’s bar in Texas, working alongside her BFF Melissa (Kayleigh Allen).  Kayleigh Allen also designed the cartoon artwork for this episode cover art.  Two Italian immigrants Giovanni and Emiliano (Mattia Signaroldi and Mike Fox) hit the stage to play synth pop and deal with a more than tough crowd.  Will Giovannia and Emiliano survive?  Find out in #bullyingsucks, an anti-bullying skit.

Be Kind (To Everyone You Meet), Music composed and performed by: Mattia Signaroldi.  Vocals by: Wonky Tonk & Kayleigh Allen.

We Are All The Same (But Different), Music composed performed by: Mattia Signaroldi.  Vocals by: Mattia Signaroldi and Mike Fox.

    Andersen Herminia

Andersen Herminia, host of Chingona Rising Podcast, tells Mike Fox how her rise from trauma to peace led her to helping other women going through similar struggles. Andersen is a Professional Writer, Graphic Designer, Author, and Public Speaker.

Andersen says: ”I am FAR from perfect, so I am constantly learning, growing, RISING! These are my lessons from the rise, some are funny, some are sad, but every single one is honest and hopefully allows you to feel seen. Because YOU—Reina—are a c******a for waking up every. single. morning. Despite challenges, despite fear, despite trauma, despite whatever obstacles have been thrown at you. Some days you will conquer, others you will feel conquered. Rising is found in the lessons we learn, the knowledge we share and the strength we find in each other. Hasta próxima, mis Reinas Chingonas—KEEP RISING!”

What a gem!

I listened to the Vixen and Vinnie episode and I absolutely loved it! It was a short episode, but jam packed with an entertaining story line that made me chuckle for sure! I have never heard a podcast like this one, but I am hooked! You can tell a lot of effort and thought has been put into this production. I can’t wait to listen to the other episodes, which all have different story lines as well. I am going to recommend this podcast to everyone!
